Dear Fellow Meitei Sisters and Brothers,
We hope this message finds you and your families well.
As you all know, our Meitei community, with its rich history, extends far beyond the borders of Manipur and India, all the way to these two continents we now call home. While we’ve all worked hard to establish ourselves and adapt to our new environments, there’s always a special place in our hearts for the land of our ancestors. We carry its values and traditions wherever we go.
As a community, we are only as strong as our commitment to each other. As Meiteis living in the Americas, we are well-positioned to contribute in significant ways to the welfare of our community. So let’s pool our resources, expertise, and networks to establish initiatives to provide our community with educational, cultural, and social support.
We invite each one of you to be part of this journey. Let’s gather our thoughts, ideas, and capabilities. Let’s foster an environment of unity, mutual respect, and progress. It’s time we strengthen our bonds, celebrate our heritage, and uplift our community.
